1. Agreement
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a binding agreement between you and Kitepod LLP (“Kitepod LLP”, “we”, “us”), a limited liability partnership registered in India (LLPIN To be updated) with its registered office at Registered office address – to be updated in Admin › Platform settings. They govern your use of Yapbar, including our website, apps, APIs and related services (the “Service”).
By creating an account or using the Service you accept these Terms, our Privacy Policy, Community Guidelines and the policies referred to in them. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
2. Who may use Yapbar

Where a person below 18 uses the Service, it must be with the verifiable consent of a parent or lawful guardian, as required by the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
You must not use the Service if you have been barred from it, or if the law prohibits you from doing so.
3. Your account
- Give accurate, current information and keep it updated.
- Keep your password and one-time passwords secret. You are responsible for activity under your account.
- One person may hold one personal account. Company pages must be created by someone authorised to act for the company.
- Tell us promptly at support@yapbar.example if you suspect unauthorised use.
- Do not impersonate any person or organisation, or claim a verification you have not earned.
4. Your content
You own what you post. By posting, you grant Kitepod LLP a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, display, reproduce, adapt for formatting and distribute your content solely to operate, secure, improve and promote the Service. This licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except where others have shared it or where we must retain it by law.
You confirm that you have the rights to what you post and that it does not infringe anyone’s rights or break the law.
5. Acceptable use
You agree to follow the Community Guidelines. In particular you will not:
- post anything unlawful, defamatory, obscene, threatening or hateful, or anything prohibited under Rule 3(1)(b) of the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021;
- harass, stalk, defraud or deceive others, or spread content you know to be false;
- scrape, copy or resell the Service or members’ data without written permission;
- circumvent security, access limits, plan limits or verification checks;
- send spam, or run automated accounts that mislead people.
6. Verification and badges
Badges show checks we have carried out, by the methods described in our Verification Policy. A badge is not an endorsement of any person or business. We may revoke a badge if the underlying facts change, if it was obtained through false information or if the holder breaks these Terms.
7. Paid services
Some features require payment. Prices are shown before you pay and are exclusive of Goods and Services Tax (GST) unless stated. GST at the prevailing rate is added at checkout and shown on your invoice, issued under GSTIN To be updated.
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period until you cancel in Settings → Billing. Cancelling stops the next renewal; access continues until the period ends.
- One-time packs (such as job packs, message packs and verification checks) are used as described at purchase and do not expire unless stated.
- Refunds are governed by our refund terms shown at checkout and by applicable law. Statutory rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 are not affected.
- We may change prices for future periods with reasonable notice.
8. Advertising
Advertisers must follow the Advertising Policy. Advertising is clearly labelled, and we may reject, pause or remove any advertisement at our discretion where it breaks our rules or the law.
A page funds its ad wallet by topping it up in Ads. Each top-up is a paid order: the wallet is credited the amount before GST, GST is added at the rate shown at checkout, and a GST tax invoice is issued. Unspent, paid (cash) wallet balance can be refunded on request by a page administrator; finance checks and pays it out, and a credit note is issued for the GST reversed. Promotional or goodwill credit is not refundable and lapses if the page is closed. Money already spent on delivered ads is not refunded.
9. Our rights
The Service, its design, software, name and marks belong to Kitepod LLP or its licensors. You receive a limited, revocable, non-transferable licence to use the Service in accordance with these Terms. News headlines and links shown in the Service belong to their publishers and link back to them.
10. Our role as an intermediary
Yapbar is an intermediary under the Information Technology Act, 2000. We host content created by members, and we act on it in line with that Act and the IT Rules, 2021. We act on valid court orders and government directions, and on complaints made through our Grievance process.
11. Suspension and termination
You may close your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or end access, remove content or limit features if you breach these Terms, if the law requires it, or to protect members. Where reasonable we tell you why and give you a way to appeal.
12. Disclaimers and liability
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we are not responsible for content posted by members or for dealings between members, such as hiring or purchases.
Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose, or a nominal sum if you paid nothing, except where the law does not allow such a limit, including liability for fraud or wilful misconduct.
13. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Please first raise any complaint through our Grievance process; most matters are resolved there. If a dispute remains, the courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any rights you have as a consumer to approach a forum of your choice.
14. Changes and contact
We may update these Terms. We will give notice of material changes in the Service or by email before they apply. Continued use after that means you accept the changes.
